COLIN Torrance of Yes Linton writes about Saturday’s indy rally in Bannockburn.

THE sun shone on the 15,000 Yes supporters as they marched from the King’s Park in Stirling to the site of the Battle of Bannockburn.

Yet again at a Yes rally all the police had to do was field questions such as “do you know where the toilets are?” or just smile back as the marchers looked at them, caught their eyes and smiled.

Yet again at a Yes rally there were no scuffles, no arrests. At the battlefield site, speeches and songs all saying the obvious: we have to be an independent nation again for the people in Scotland to control our own economy, for us to decide what is best for Scotland, for us to decide how Scottish resources will be used for the good of Scotland.

For those who have been at the other rallies, Glasgow and Dumfries, there is the feeling that we are now “kent faces”.

Networks are being made, links are being set up, independence is coming.
