INFRASTRUCTURE Managers Limited (IML), a specialist provider of management services to the PFI and PPP markets, has boosted its plans for expansion with the appointment of a new, highly-renowned non-executive chairman.

The role will be taken up by Alan Campbell, a retired corporate law expert with 30 years of experience. He spent his entire career at commercial law firm Dundas & Wilson prior to retiring from legal practice in 2014. During this time he specialised in corporate law, particularly on transactions involving infrastructure development. He has been involved in advising IML since its establishment.

Campbell’s appointment comes as IML seeks to continue its growth in the UK’s PPP market while extending its offering in Europe. The company now services a portfolio of almost 100 projects.

Simon Peck, managing director at IML, said: “Having someone with Alan’s credibility and sector experience is invaluable to our business.”

Campbell will join the board on November 24, taking over from incumbent chairman David Jones, who completes his tenure after almost seven years.
