YOUNG entrepreneurs in Scotland are preparing for a two day business festival in Glasgow.

Young Enterprise Scotland’s Festival of Youth Enterprise – which will be held at Hampden Park on June 5 and 6 – celebrates the achievements of young people in social enterprise activities in school, and encourages them to consider a business career in the future.

Young people will get the chance to network with potential employers and representatives from colleges and universities, will hear from successful young business leaders, and will also get the chance to showcase their own products in the Festival Marketplace.

Young Enterprise Scotland (YES) aims to inspire young people by equipping them with skills to learn and succeed through enterprise.

YES chief executive Geoff Leask said: “Last year we hosted the first ever Festival of Youth Enterprise and this year – in the Year of Young People – it’s going to be even bigger and better.”
