THREE whiskies produced at Tullibardine distillery in Blackford, Perth and Kinross have been awarded medals at the 2018 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.

Two of its aged finishes – 20 Years Old and 25 Years Old – and Tullibardine Sovereign were recognised for excellent quality by the international awards which select the best spirits, by taste and design, to consumers and trade across the globe. Both Tullibardine 20 Years Old and Tullibardine 25 Years Old were judged to have “excellent, highly recommended” status in the Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky category, while Tullibardine’s signature single malt, Tullibardine Sovereign was given a “very good, strong recommendation”.

John Torrance, distillery manager said: “We’re very proud that three of Tullibardine’s whiskies have been recognised at this year’s Ultimate Spirits Challenge. It’s a great reflection of the outstanding taste profile, craftsmanship and quality of our whisky.”

“2018 is set to be a very exciting year for the Tullibardine brand and to be acknowledged with such a respected award is a huge honour and is only a taste for what’s set to come.”
