MULTINATIONAL fashion brand Khaadi is opening its first shop in Scotland.

The new shop will be in Glasgow shopping centre, Silverburn, positioned between Flannels and Schuh.

Khaadi, famed for its intricate, hand-woven designs using traditional handloom techniques, was founded in Pakistan in 1998. Customers will be able to select from a wide variety of women’s traditional dress garments and accessories.

David Pierotti, Silverburn’s general manager, said: “Khaadi is a fantastic addition to Silverburn’s line-up of leading brands and comprehensive leisure offering. Selecting Silverburn to lead its Scottish expansion plans demonstrates the centre’s strong position on the market.
