THE husband-and-wife team behind a thriving Scottish digital advertising firm have revealed plans to set up a base in Los Angeles.

Tag Digital, a pay-per-click agency specialising in the global events and publishing sector, was set up in Milngavie in 2011 by Craig and Laura Davidson.

It has offices in Glasgow and London and is on track to post a turnover in excess of £2 million next year, and £6m by 2019 year-end.

The team runs campaigns in 46 countries. With exporting a key part of their growth strategy, several large-scale projects have been secured for next year in New York, Texas, Philadelphia and Dubai.

Tag will conclude 2017 with a scouting mission to California to expand their existing client base in the US west coast and look for premises – and has just been named as one of 20 businesses accepted on to the inaugural Scale Up Scotland programme run by The Hunter Foundation and Entrepreneurial Scotland.

Laura said: “We’re excited with how far the business has come, but this is only the beginning. We’re proud to be listed among a group of promising Scottish entrepreneurs.”
