TENNENT’S has marked Grand National winner One for Arthur’s Aintree success by gifting a bespoke beer tap to his stables’ local, the Thistle Hotel in Milnathort, Kinross.
Trainer Lucinda Russell, said: “We were obviously delighted with the result last Saturday so it’s great to have a permanent reminder in our local bar, where we can raise a glass to toast One for Arthur and the team every time we’re in for a drink.”
Tennent’s new fount casings are interchangeable, meaning the brand can produce one-off founts like One for Arthur for special occasions.
Claire Arnott, head of UK customer marketing at Tennent’s, said: “Being the first Scottish-trained horse to win the Grand National since 1979 is a tremendous achievement. We are delighted to play our part in toasting Lucinda, her team and One for Arthur.”
