CHEF to the start, John Quigley, and the Tennent’s Training Academy (TTA) have teamed up to run a unique culinary masterclass for Glasgow’s foodies.

Budding chefs will learn how to cook a fish dish, fit for the likes of Brian Adams, Tina Turner and Guns and Roses, as they visit the Glasgow fish market with Quigley before heading back to the TTA kitchen for a masterclass with the man himself.

The one-off masterclass event at the Tennent’s Training Academy Cook School in Wellpark Brewery in April also includes a tour of the brewery before guests get a chance to take part in a beer tasting session.

Quigley, Glasgow-based Red Onion chef and restaurateur, said: “Cooking and great beer are two great passions of mine, so seeing these come together in this masterclass is fantastic. We’ve created an event that will give guests the full foodie experience.”

Ross Pollock, manager of the Tennent’s Visitor Centre, said he was thrilled to have Quigley on board.
