AN independent specialist in telecoms and information technology is to advise the Scottish Government on the planning and rollout of its Digital Infrastructure Action Plan.
FarrPoint has worked on a number of high-profile projects for clients ranging from Kwik Fit, Total and Clarks to the Scottish Government and the NHS.
FarrPoint CEO and co-founder Dr Andrew Muir will lead the project.
He said: “The R100 programme is a crucial part of the Government’s vision for ensuring that Scotland’s digital infrastructure is among the best in the world.
“We are delighted to have been appointed and to be able to build on our previous work with the Scottish Government in the superfast broadband space.”
