THE home of Scottish Rugby often sees on-field collisions, but next month Murrayfield will host another “collider event” with major companies and public sector organisations meeting potential recruits from universities and colleges.
Data Talent Scotland is part of the forthcoming DataFest17 week of events, will feature over 25 organisations including Sainsbury’s Bank, SAS, Aquila Insight, NHS NSS and Registers of Scotland that are actively looking to fill specialist data roles.
Data Talent takes place at Murrayfield Stadium on March 22 at a time when organisers Data Lab say demand for data skills is ‘unprecedented’ with hundreds of specialist jobs needing filled in the country.
The organisers stated: “The collider event allows the recruiting organisations to meet over 250 Masters and PhD students from 16 specialist data courses at 11 universities around Scotland as well as other experienced data specialists.”
