Marvin Bartley has left Queen of the South.
The former Hibs and Livingston midfielder mutually agreed a departure from his role as manager.
The decision was announced by the club at the conclusion of their final match of the League One season.
The Dumfries side had been two goals up against Montrose but lost 3-2 after a second-half collapse.
Queen of the South had harboured ambitions of competing at the top of the table but ended the season in seventh.
A club statement confirmed: "With the season now coming to a conclusion, after what has been a challenging campaign, we have mutually agreed to part company with manager Marvin Bartley.
"We would like to pass on our thanks to Marvin for his efforts over the course of the season and wish him well for the future."

Chairman Billy Hewitson commented: "We had all hoped for a successful season competing at the top end of the league but unfortunately this was not meant to be so the decision has been made to part company with Marvin.
"We thank him and wish him well going forward."
Bartley said on the decision: "We obviously wanted a successful season but it wasn’t meant to be for one reason or another including injuries.
"A young group will have improved and learned a lot this year and be better for it. This will allow the club a full summer to move forward.
"I would like to thank the coaching staff players, the board, the fans and everyone at the club especially the volunteers for all their efforts during my time at the club."
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
